Well, so much for my goal of keeping up on the blog all year, but I am getting back into it, so here we are! This is what I got done this morning before the kids got off to school. Andrew had gotten glasses right after his birthday last month since he struggled on the ‘quick eye exam’ that they always do in the well checks. So I finally got around to getting his name and a Dragon as requested on the case to make it look cool. I used the cricut and the SCAL program for the dragon and Pooh Font for the name.

Friday, August 22nd, 2008More Scrappin’, Painting, and Sewing
Sunday, August 17th, 2008Well, I have had a productive week this week and last. I was able to have a scrap night this last week and got a few pages done and I got a well needed break from the kids on Tuesday and took the time to relax and paint in Evelyn’s room. I have also gotten out the sewing machine to work on a few projects that have been put aside all summer. One is for Matt’s all-day Kindergarten he is required to have a 12″x12″ pillow with his name on it, so I embroidered him one:) I am also making an American quilt and so I have been working on a few parts of that in an effort to get that done before Robert comes home (a lofty goal, but it might happen:) ).
I had another Scrap Night!!!
Saturday, July 12th, 2008Well I finally got the house almost back together and needed the break so I had another Scrap night, And while I only made one spread and the title to the one I worked on weeks ago, I felt good and it is always nice to get something done and think you have done well. The Hoodie Towel page is my daughter, and I used drawings I made copying the design on the towel and the Cricut Cartridge Opposites Attract for the title.
The Egg Hunt page used a Close to My Heart Stamp Set and old Provo Craft Paper.
The dyeing the Eggs page was done on the same old PC paper and I used the George Cart to do the eggs.
The last set of pages is the one I did last night- I used DoodleCharms for the bunnies and eggs and basket and Opposites Attract for the title.
Batarangs
Saturday, June 14th, 2008I am quite proud of how these bats turned out, I used my Cricut and the program that goes with it, Cricut Design Studio and melded lots of ovals and their outlines (from the George Cartridge) just right and trimmed a little part of some and voila!!! Yeah for me
Each child got one as part of their favors and we played with them and ‘practiced our aim’ in a version of bean bag toss at they party.

I had a scrap night!!!
Monday, June 2nd, 2008Well I had a scrap night on Thursday last week, and Rora was wanting to be held a majority of the time so I got one and a half spreads done in 5 hours, but I did have fun and I helped my friend Megan get some really great spreads done as well. We are going to try to make it a by monthly thing if not more often, so we can get caught up and
so I can stay sane while Robert is deployed. Here is a picture of the spread that I completed (excuse the glare). I am still working on a title for the other- it is a page of full shots and up close of Evelyn wrapped in her hoodie towel- an ideas anyone? So far all I can come up with is Bathing Beauty, but since she is in her towel not the bath, that doesn’t quite work. Your would never believe I spent so long on these, but I did
